Pro 21:23 -31

Whoever keeps mouth and tongue keeps soul from distresses.

'Haughty scorner' is the name of one who deals in proud wrath.

The greed of the sluggard leads to death because the hands refuse to produce, coveting greedily all day long, but the just gives and does not withhold.

The offering of the wicked is hateful,

how much more bringing it with a scheming intent!

A false witness will wander away lost, but the one who pays attention

to understand, will arrange

an appointed destiny.

A wicked hardens their face, but the upright establishes his way.

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel before Jehovah.

The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but to Jehovah belongs deliverance.

-------------------------------------------------

Pro 22:1-15

A good name(Title) is more excellent than great riches, And loving favor is better than silver and gold.

The rich and the poor meet together: Almighty God is the maker of them all.

A prudent person sees danger

and hides self;

But the simple pass on and suffer for it.

The result of humility and the fear of God Is wealth, honor, and life.

Thorns and snares are in the path of the wicked: Whoever guards his soul stays from them.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when grown up,

will not depart from it.

The rich have power over the poor.

The borrower is servant to the lender.

One who sows wickedness reaps trouble, And the rod of his fury will be destroyed.

He who has a generous eye

will be blessed; For he shares his food with the poor.

Drive out the mocker

and strife will go out;

Yes, quarrels and insults will stop.

He who loves purity of heart and speaks gracefully Is the king's friend.

The eyes of God watches over knowledge;

But He frustrates the words

of the unfaithful.

The sluggard says, "There is a lion outside! I will be killed in the streets!"

The mouth of the lost is a deep pit:

One who is under God's wrath

will fall into it.

Folly is bound up in the heart of a child: The scepter of correction will remove it far from him.

 Pro 22:16 - 29

Someone who squashes the poor

to increase for self,

and also gives to the rich -

it only comes to failure and deficiency.

Stretch to tune-in your ears,

and hear the words of the wise,

and arrange your heart

with My knowledge.

For it is a pleasant thing

if you keep My words within you;

they will all be fitted in your lips,

so that your trust may be in Jehovah,

I have made it known to you this day,

even to you.

Have I not written to you excellent things in counsels and knowledge,

so that I might make you understand

the sureness of the words of truth;

  so that you can answer

words of truth to those sent to you?

Do not plunder the weak,

because they are helpless;

nor bruise the afflicted in the mall

or in the store;

for Jehovah will plead their cause,

and strip the soul of those who plunder them.

Make no friendship with

an aggressive man;

and you will not go along

with a man of fury, lest you learn his ways and get a snare to your soul.

Do not be one of those who

clasps the hands,

of those who are sureties for debts.

If you have nothing to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?

Do not remove the old landmark which your ancestors have set.

Do you see someone diligent in  business? Such a one will stand before kings; and not stand before the unknown.

Pro 23:1 - 14

When you sit down to eat with a ruler, look carefully at what is before you;

and put a knife to your throat,

if you are a person given to appetite.

Do not desire his delicacies,

for they are deceitful food.

Do not labor to be rich;

cease from your own understanding.

Will your eyes fly on it?

And it is gone!

For surely it makes wings for itself;

it flies into the heavens like an eagle.

Do not eat the bread

of who has an evil eye,

nor desire his dainty foods;

for as he thinks in his heart,

so is he; Eat and drink, he says to you, but his heart is not with you.

Your bit which you have eaten,

you will vomit up

and spoil your pleasant words.

Do not speak in the ears of a fool,

for he will despise

the wisdom of your words.

Do not remove the old landmarks

and do not enter into the land of the orphans;

for their Redeemer is mighty;

He will content their cause with you.

Apply your heart to instruction

and your ears to the words of knowledge.

Do not withhold correction from a harmful boy, for though you slap him with a rod, he will not die.

You slap him with a rod and will deliver his soul from hell.

Pro 23:15 - 25

My child if your heart is wise,

as for Me, My heart will rejoice.

Yea, My heart will rejoice

when your lips speak fair logic.

Do not let your heart envy criminals;

but be in reverence

of Jehovah your Father all day long.

For surely there is a future,

an end and the hereafter,

and your cord of life will not be cut off.

My child listen with attention

and exceed in wisdom

and honestly guide your heart

with sincerity on your life journey.

Do not be among those

who drink much wine

and shake their bodies,

for the drunkard and the seducer

loses all

and drowsiness will clothe with rags.

Listen to your Father

Who made you reborn

and do not disrespect your mother

when she is old.

Redeem the truth and do not defraud it; Redeem also wisdom, skill, correction, instruction, insight and understanding.

Righteous descendants make their Father exceedingly happy;

A wise offspring will be a joy to Him.

God your Father will be glad and the Holy Spirit Who regenerated you,

will rejoice.

Pro 23:26 - 35

My child give Me your heart,

and let your eyes watch and guard My ways with approval.

An adulterer is a deep quicksand chasm and a seducing stranger is an enclosing cramped pit lurking to plunder;

increasing treachery among people.

Who laments loudly?

Who has desperate longing?

Who provokes a squabble ?

Who murmurs ?

Who has wounds in vain?

Who has redness of eyes?

Those who loiter long at the wine,

those who go to examine mixed wines. Observe ye not the wine when it is red, gives its shine in the cup,

and moves smoothly?

Finally it strikes like a serpent

and wounds like an viper.

Your eyes will look upon strangers

and your heart will speak perverse rudeness.

Yes, you will be like someone who lies down (in a boat) in the middle of the sea, or as someone who lies swaying up on the mast: Saying:

"They beat me up, but I was not grieved; they struck me down, I was unaware of it. When shall I awake? I will yet require it again!"

Pro 24:1-8

Do not be zealous against

destructive persons,

nor inspired to be with them.

For their hearts ponder ravage,

and their lips subdue into misrable enslavement.

Through wisdom a household is built, and by intelligent understandable reasoning, it is firmly established,

and stably fitted; and by knowledge

the chambers will be filled

with precious women and enough pleasant provision.

A wise heroic person is

a bold strong security;

yes, a person of knowledge and insight; alert and prepared and increases firmness, strength, vigor and capacity.

For by wise management and guidance will you wage your battle;

and in an abundance of counsellors

is rescue.

Secure wisdom is too high for a fool;

does not open the mouth in the portal.

One who weaves plots to spoil and destroy will be accosted as

a villian-lord of deceit.

Pro 24:9 - 13

A plot of foolishness is an offence deserving punishment,

and a scoffing scorner is hateful

to people.

Your toughness is thin if you slacken in the day of adversity.

 If you refrain, from rescueing those being taken to death,

and those shaking from being slaughtered,

because you say:"Look, we did not know this".

Is God who weighs the hearts,  unaware of this? And the One who keeps your soul,

does He not know?

Yes He does and He repays each person according to their actions.

My child, eat honey because

it is good, and the honeycomb

is sweet to your palate.

PROVERBS 24:14-22

So will the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul:

when you have found it,

  there will be a reward,

and your expectation

will not be cut off.

Do not lurk to ambush,

O schemers,

against the dwelling of the righteous;

do not spoil their resting place:

because a just person falls seven times, and rises up again:

but the schemers

will stumble into calamity.

Rejoice not when your enemy falls,

and let not your heart be glad

when such stumble:

In case the LORD see it,

and it displeases Him,

and He turns His discipline

away from such.

Do not fret because of the destroyers, neither be envious

at the schemers;

because there will be no reward

to the destructive person;

the candle of the schemers will be put out.

My child, you,

fear the LORD and the king:

and do not meddle with them

who are given to inconsistency:

because their calamity will rise suddenly; and who knows the ruin of them who are two-faced ?

PROVERBS 24:23-34

 These are also quotes
of the wise:
To show partiality in judgment
is not good.
It is not right to disregard by showing acquaintance but scrutinize with suspicion
or estrange yourself from
someone being judged

 Who says to the wicked:
"You are righteous,"
People will puncture such,
society will be enraged at such.

To those who correct with dispute will be delight,
And a good blessing will come over them.

It kisses the lips who gives a right answer.

 Setup your career outside
And make it ready for yourself in the field; Afterwards, then, build your home.

 Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, and do not open up talk.

 Do not say: "This I shall do to this one as has done to me;
or, I will render to this person
according to the person's actions."

  I passed by the field of the sluggard and by the vineyard of the man lacking sense,
  And behold, it was completely overgrown with thistles;
It's surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.
 When I saw, I reflected upon it; I looked, and received instruction.
  "A little nap, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to lie down," Then poverty will arrive at a pace  and your lack, like an armoured person.

 PROVERBS 25:1-5

 These are an assemblage of wisdom

proverbs of Solomon

which the stewards of Hezekiah, king

of Judah, transcribed:

It is splendid that God hides some things; but is a honor for royalty
to ascend reign through detail investigation of a matter,  using counsel and consulting.

The sky for height,
and the earth for depth,
but the heart of royalty is unsearchable.

 Remove the dross from the silver,
and the result will be
a vessel or jewel for the refiner.

Remove the wicked before the queen,
and her throne will be founded
in clarity, justice and prosperity.

                       PROVERBS 25:6-10

Do not promote yourself boasting
in the presence of the king,
and do not remain in the space
of the great;
for it is better that it should be said to you: "Get up here",
than that you should be put lower
in the presence of a noble
whom your eyes have seen.

Do not go out hastily to hold a controversybecause, what will you do in the end of it, if the neighbor has put you to shame.

Have your controversy with the one who caused it;
and do not uncover this secret to another, in-case who hears puts you to shame, and your defaming does not turn away.

PROVERBS 25:11-17

A matter, well defined from all round perspectives, is like gold apples
 in a setting of silver.

Like a gold ring or a carved ornament of gold so is a wise, correcting argument to an intelligent, attentive ear.

Like the sharp coolness of snow
on the hot day of reaping,
so is a supportive, fostering diplomat
 to those who send; recovering the vitality
of the governers.

Like clouds and wind without rain
is a person who boasts of a gift
and does not give.

Because of the length of a nose,
a judge makes room.
and a frail tongue shatters bone.
(Sadly not always honesty that counts)

If you have found honey,
eat only enough for you,
lest you have your fill of it
and throw up.

Let your foot seldom be in your friends' house, incase they have their fill of you and hate you.

PROVERBS 25:18-22

 A person who takes notice
of slander lies,
to repeat them
against a neighbor,
is
a breaker,
and makes the neighbor desolate,
and pierces wounds.

Taking refuge with a plunderer
in time of trouble
is like a broken tooth,
and a foot out of joint.

As one who passes on and decks
with a garment on a cool day,
as vinegar effervescing with niter,
so is someone who, while working casually, sings songs
in the presence of a nasty heart.

If your hater is very hungry,
give food to eat; and if thirsty,
give water to swallow down,
because you will take away fire
from head,
and Jehovah will requite you
and make you safe.

PROVERBS 25:23-28

As the hidden north wind whirls rain;
 so an enraged countenance hides eventual talking.

 Better to stay in the attic
than with a quarrel provoking woman
in the same house.

 Like cool waters
to an exhausted creature

so is good news from a distant country.

  A righteous person who wavers
before the corrupted
is like a trampled fountain
and a spoiled spring.

 Not good to eat to much honey;
nor to calculate own copiousness
for glory.

  Someone who does not control
own energy with discipline
is like a broken down city without a wall.

PROVERBS 26:1-9

 As snow in summer, and rain in harvest,
so having influence, is not suitable
for a shameless person.

  As a bird nodding, as a swallow flying,
so the slander without cause will not pass.

  A crop for the horse, a bridle for the ass,
and a rod for the arrogant brute's back.

  Do not answer a shameless person
according to that one's arrogance,
unless you also be like that.

 Answer an arrogant person
according to his shamelessness,
so that that one may not be wise in own eyes.

  Someone who sends a message
by the hand of a shameless person,
cuts off the journey
and drinks down violence.

 The legs of the lame are feeble;
so is a parable in the mouth
of an arrogant brute.

 As one who binds a stone in a sling,
so is someone who gives honor
to an arrogant brute.
(It makes this brute into
a dangerous
weapon)

 As a thorn goes up into the hand
of an intoxicated person,
so is a parable in the mouth
of shameless brutes.

 PROVERBS 26:10-12

 The great, twists all, by hiring a
shameless brute or hiring an obstructer.

 As a dog returns to its vomit,
so the shameless return to their folly.

Do you see a person wise in own eyes?
More can be expected of someone
who is a thick-head than out of such one.

 PROVERBS 26:13-16

 The lazy says:
"There is life threatening danger
in the way;
violence in the streets!".

As the door turns upon it's hinges,
so the lazy person turns over on the bed.

The lazy person covers own abilities up inside; and it wearies this one
to return to it in conversation.

An idle person is wiser in own eyes than seven coaches
who can render discreet guidance.

 PROVERBS 26:17-23

Someone who goes beyond

the contention with an adversary,

conducting it over,

is some-one who attaches the attack

to a broader audience,

 like a rabid person who froths out fire, arrows, and death.

So also is the person who hurtfully
beguiles a neighbour and says:
"Am I not joking?"

 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out;
and where there is no slanderer,
the fighting ceases.

 As new coals to burning coals,
and wood to fire,
so is a contentious person to incite fighting.

The opinion of a slanderer
causes inflamed wounds,
 descending into the innermost chambers of the belly (subconscious mind).

Some-one with persecuting lips and a wicked heart
is a piece of clay (pottery)
covered with silver dross.

 Every-time that any of us injure another with humiliation & degrading, verbally or physically

or with planned set-ups,

we damage our own self-image,

in spite of the possible reaction of the

entertained-ness or approval of associates.

Eventually a person will feel so bad about themselves that the only time they feel better, is to entertain others, by injuring an individual

 in a disadvantaged position.

PROVERBS 26:24-28

 Someone who hates,
talks with dissembling scrutinize
and appoints fraud within.
 When this person proclaims favour,
do not trust this patronizing;
because seven detestable things
are in this person's heart.

 Fierce hatred counterfeited by
delusional seductions,
is a person whose wretchedness
will be disclosed before the congregation.

 Whoever digs a pit(trap) will fall into it;
and someone who rolls a stone
(sets up boycott),
it will turn back to this person.

 A lying tongue hates those whom it injured,
and a smooth dividing mouth, overthrows.

PROVERBS 27:1-4

Boast not yourself about tomorrow;

because you don't know

what a day may bring forth.

Let another person praise you,
and not your own mouth;
a stranger, and not your own lips.

 A stone is heavy, and sand heavy;
but a distorter's anger, provoking wrath,
is heavier than both together.

 Wrath is fiercly cruel,
and emotional anger is an outrageous gush;
but who is able to stand before jealousy?

PROVERBS27:5-9

 Revealing correction is better than concealing because of love.

   Steady, up-building, fostering through wounds of affection;
but the deceitful kisses of hate are abundant.

 The full soul tramples a honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

 As a bird who flees,
flapping away from it's nest,
so is a person who is driven
from  position.

 Rich ointment and perfume brightens the heart:
so does the pleasantness of a friend's lively counsel.

PROVERBS 27:10-16

 Your own friend,
and your gaurdian's friend,
do not let go of them;
do not go to your brother's house
in the day of your trouble;
  a neighbor who is close, is better
than a brother who is far off.

My child, use wisdom,
and brighten my heart(mind),
so that I may turn back the words
and the matter of someone
who reproaches me,
to surrender me.

 A sensible person seeing the evil
becomes absent,
but those who are simple, carries on,
and get punished.

Remove the covering of someone
who braids(deceit) with a stranger,
and bind that one tightly to a stranger.
(consider that one also as a stranger)

Someone who compliments a friend
with an loud, insolent, bleating voice,
loads a burden,
and  it will be counted as offensive.

 Like the repetitive dripping of pouring rain, sweeping away,
so is someone who keeps on
provoking contention.

 Whoever hoards, hoards the wind,
and the fruitfulness(richness)
at the right-side(strong side), betrays.

 PROVERBS 27:17-22

 As Iron sharpens iron
(making sword or implement
work effective )
so does someone sharpen
(makes confident)
the countenance of a friend.

Whoever keeps the fig tree
will eat its fruit;
so who protects and defends their leader
will be promoted.

 As in water, face reflects face,
so the heart of a person
reflects a person.

The world of the dead is never full
and perishing matter is never enough ;
so the eyes(brain) of a human
 are never satiated.

 As the refining melting pot for silver
and the furnace for gold,
so is a person's communication
to shining clearly.

 Though you should pound a distorter
in a hollow with a bar
split like ground wheat,
the distorting will not depart from such.

PROVERBS 27:23-27

Be diligent to know the state of your flocks,
and look well after your herds.
 because riches are not for ever:
and does dedication endure
to every generation?

 The hay appears,
and the tender grass shows itself,
and herbs of the mountains are gathered.

 The sheep are for your garments,
and the goats are the price of the field.
And you will have goats' milk
enough for your food,
for the food of your household,
and the maintenance of you maidens.

Proverbs 28:1-4

 The corrupted flee when no-one pursues:
 but those who are just, are like a village
of secure refuge.

 For the revolution of a land
there are many governors:
but by an intelligent person
with observation, understanding
and knowledge, the setting upright
of the land, will be prolonged.

 A deprived person who oppressively violates the weak
is like eroding rain,
 leaving nothing to eat.

 They who are loose in lawful principals
clear the corrupted:
but those who guard lawful principals,
contend with them.

PROVERBS 28:5-9

Harmful people do not
understand justice and judgement;
but those who strive after Jehovah
enquiring  and requesting,
understand completely.

Better, even though poor,
is someone who travels
through life authentic and honest,
than one whose travel through life
 is a false role-playing,
though rich.

Whoever guards lawful principals
is a wise, intelligent child, but
who tends to shaky influences,
wounds The Father.

One who increases wealth
by loan interest and compounding,
will gather it for someone who
implores to be kind
to the deprived.

One who turns away from
paying attention
to intelligent observance of
legal responsibilities,
even the prayer of such a person
is a hateful thing.

PROVERBS 28:10-14

 A person who causes the honest & fair,
to go astray in an illegal & afflictive way
will fall into their own pit,
but integrity will inherit goodness.

A rich person is and appears intelligent,
wise and capable,
but an insignificant appearing  person, with awareness
and understanding, can analyze
and define them.

When the just triumph,
great the honor,
but when the wicked
accomplish influential position,
a person will search to be concealed.

 Those who prepare and conceal
a revolt against justice or law will not succeed in their purpose,
but one who uses hands to loosen
and let go, will find love.

Happy is a person
who remains sensitive and effect-able!
But someone who hardens their heart
falls into bad habits and misery.

PROVERBS 28:15-19

Like a roaring lion and a hunting bear,
so is a wicked ruler
over the helpless people.

A ruler who lacks understanding
is a great oppressor;
but one who hates plunder
will prolong his days.

 A person who oppresses with violence,
any living creature, causing bloodshed,
will vanish to the dungeon;
nothing upholding him.

Whoever travels through life, honestly,
will have freedom and security.

 but a person who is distorted in his ways,
knotting nets, maneuvering boycotts,
will fall being united with these
nets and boycotts.

Someone who tills, dresses and
compels production on their land
will have enough food,
but a person pursuing worthless things
 will have 'enough' poverty.

PROVERBS 28:20-28

 A stable person will overflow with favor,
grace and advantage,
but someone who is in a hurry to be rich
will not be innocent.

 To scrutinize people is not good;
over a bit of food a person will quarrel.

Someone who is anxious to be rich
has an afflictive outlook on life,
and considers and acknowledges
nothing until lack is gone.

Someone who rebukes a person
will afterwards find more favor than
someone who comes out smooth
with the tongue.

Whoever takes by force from
father or mother
and says, It is no trespass;
will be considered as a corrupted person.

Someone with a large vitality
grates for contest;
but someone who puts their trust
in Jehovah, will be empowered.

Whoever trusts in own heart
and intellect, is clumsy;
but whoever behaves wisely,
will escape or be rescued.

Someone who gives to the poor
will have no lack,
but someone who pretends not to notice
will receive many curses.

When the corrupted rise, people hide themselves, but
when the corrupted wander away lost,
the righteous increase.

  PROVERBS 29:1-14

 Someone being often reproved and
hardens the neck, will suddenly be destroyed,
and that without cure.

When the just increases,
 society brightens up,
but when the unethical govern,
society sighs.

  Someone who loves wisdom
brightens up the Father,
but those who tend harlots
let their substance trickle away.

With a just constitutional law
and fair sentences,
the king stabilizes and establishes the land,
but the one who receives sacrificial tributes,
(at the cost of another)  overthrows the land.

Someone who smooth-es up an associate
spreads a net for his feet.

In the rebellion of an evil person
there is a snare:
but those who are fair and just,
they do sing and rejoice.

The fair and just consider the cause
of the poor:
but  corrupted people do not understand
to take any regard to know about it.

Scoffers kindle flames and fan a fire in a city:
but the wise turn back nosey wrath.

 If  a wise person is in contention
with a perverse person,
whether he fears or scoffs,
there is no descent to imposing a verdict
to resting the case.

The bloodthirsty hate those who are
wholesome with gentle manners:
but the just searches after their soul.

 A fat person goes out of breath:
but a wise person addresses a situation
and motivates
with encouraging enthusiasm.

 If a ruler regards lies and schemes,
all those who attend to him turn out  wicked.

The poor and the broken encounter each other:
and God enlightens both their eyes.

The king who stabilizes dangling weak people with trustworthy legislation,
his throne will be securely established perpetually.

Proverbs29:15-27

  The rod and fair reasoning rebuke,
gives wisdom:
but a child who was cast away,
makes the mother pale.

  When the unethical and immoral are multiplied, rebellion increases:
but the just will see their fall.

  Strictly correct and instruct
 your children,
and they will give you rest;
yea, they will give delight to your soul.

  Where there is no vision,
the people are dismantled:
but one who guards principals,
has happiness.

  A servant not corrected
with a word: though he understands
he will not reply.

  Do you see a person who
is hasty in words?
there is more hope of a fool than of him.

  He that delicately brings up
his servant from a child will have him
become his son at the length.

  An angry man stirs up strife,
and a furious man
abounds in trespassing.

  A person's arrogance will bring shame:
but solid assurance will sustain
the humble soul.

  Whoever partners with a thief
hates his own soul:
he hears evil spells cast,
and does not confront it or denounce it.

  The fear of humans brings a snare:
 but whoever put their trust
in the LORD, will be safe.

  Many seek the ruler's favour;
but everyone's judgment
comes from the LORD.

  An unjust person
 is an abomination to the just:
and one who is pleasantly fair in the
journey of life,
is an abomination to the wicked.

 PROVERBS 30 : 1 - 33

The chronicles of Agur the gatherer,
conceived from obedience,
a poetic tribute:
an oracle unto Ithiel:
God has arrived,
and unto Ucal the devoured.

Surely I am a more consumed prey
than any other existing being,
and do not have the understanding
of a human being.
I neither learned wisdom,
nor have  awareness of the sacred.
Who has ascended up into heaven,
or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in his fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name,
 if you can tell?

 "Every word of God is refined & pure:
He is a shield to those
who put their trust in Him.
 You! do not add unto His words,
unless He reproves you,
and you be found a liar."

PRAYER: "Two things have I
required of Thee;
do not deny it me before I die:
 Remove far from me, desolation
 and deceitful falseness:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
supply me with the nourishment
ascribed to me:
in case I be full, and be untrue to Thee,
and say, Who is the LORD?
or unless I be poor, and thieve,
and manipulate with the authority of my God."

Accuse not a servant unto his master,
in case he brings you into contempt,
and you be considered guilty
and be harmed.

 There is a generation who makes
light of  their father,
and does not pray for their mother.
 There is a generation who are clean
in their own eyes,
but do not wash themselves
from their crap.
 There is a generation. . how haughty are their eyes! and their eyelids are drawn up.
 There is a generation, whose teeth are as daggers, and their jaw teeth as knives,
to devour the depressed and the broken
 from off the earth,
and the deprived from out of humanity.

 The parasite has two daughters,
crying: "Give, give."
There are three things that are never satisfied, yes, four things do not say, "enough":
 The grave,
those deprived of compassion,
the earth not filled with water;
and the fire which demands:"Not enough".

 The eyes which mock at a supportive protective father,
and despises to obey a wise caring mother,
the ravens of the stream shall pick it out,
and the young eagles shall eat it.

There are three things which are
too wonderful to me,
yes, four which I do not grasp:
The flight of an eagle in the sky;
the way of a serpent up on a rock;
 the way of a ship in the midst
of the roaring ocean;
and the journey of a man courting a girl.

 Such is the way of an adulterous human;
 'eats', breaks wedlock, wipes mouth, and says: " I have done no wickedness".

 For these three the earth quakes,
and the fourth it cannot bear:
A servant who climbs the throne and reigns.
A scheming fool who is satisfied from food.
A hater who gets dominion.
A handmaid to her mistress, 'adopted' by the family, who occupies by driving out previous heirs, and possessing in their place, by implication to seize, to rob, to inherit by expelling.

 There are four things which are tiny on the earth, but they are exceedingly wise:
The ants are a tribe, not strong,
yet they prepare for their food in the harvest.
The rock rabbits(dassies) are a feeble tribe, yet they make their houses
like fortresses in the high rocks;
The locusts have no king,
yet they go forward, all of them, in ranks.
 The spider wields webs woven with it's hands and captures prey by surprise,
and lives in kings' palaces.

There are three things which go well,
yes, four are comely in going:
 A lion, the strongest among animals,
does not turn away for anything;
A jaguar; a male goat;
and a king not rising up.

If you have done foolishly in lifting up yourself, or if you have thought evil,
lay your hand on your mouth.
Surely the churning of milk brings forth butter, and the squashing of the nose
brings forth blood:
so does the forcing of wrath bring forth strife.

  Proverbs 31:1-9

 The counsel of the royalty
(those in governing positions)
who belong to God.
An oracle their mother taught them:
 What, my child and heir?  What, child of my womb? What, heir by my vows?
Do not give your wealth, valor and strength to many women or your ways to those
who reach out to wipe out royalty.

It is not for royalty to drink wine, or for rulers to take strong drink,
 in case  they drink and forget the law and alter or disguise the rights
of all the afflicted.

Give strong drink to those who wander aimlessly, and wine to those
in bitter distress;
 let them drink and forget their losses
and remember their dispair no more.

Open your mouth for the mute,
for the rights of the orphaned
and those who are to go extinct without descendants (LGTQ).
  Open your mouth, judge fairly,
 defend the rights of the abused
 and deprived.
